IV THERAPY

What is IV Therapy?

Nutrient Intravenous Therapy (IV Therapy) is a treatment that infuses nutrients directly into your bloodstream. Nutrients that are consumed through supplements and food are regulated by your gut lining which can limit the amount of nutrients that end up in our circulation. Administering the nutrients through the vein allows for higher doses than can be achieved through ingesting alone. Oral absorption rates vary from person to person and on the nutrient but can range from 25-50% while IV Therapy provides nearly 100%!

Frequently Asked Questions

Does IV Therapy Hurt?

The needles used during IV therapy are much smaller than what is used when getting blood work done. A pinch like sensation is typically experienced at first. Afterwards, the needle is removed and you are left with a plastic catheter (tube) that is administering the nutrients for the rest of the treatment. Some may experience an ache during their drip but our experienced staff can help ease this experience by slowing down the drip and providing you with a a hot pack to help ease any discomfort.

How long does each treatment take?

Treatment visits can range from 30 minutes to 2.5 hours depending on the person and the treatment bag. On average, a treatment typically lasts for 60 minutes.

How do you know which ingredients to choose?

Ingredients are chosen based on your treatment goals. They may be determined based on nutritional deficiencies but in most cases nutrients are used therapeutically based on your treatment goals.

When should I expect to see results?

It depends. Some people experience results within the first treatment, some experience them the following dayand in some cases people experience results after a couple IV treatments.
