Mental Health Therapy & Counselling
Hi, we’re Dr. Sarah & Dr. Andriana and
we’re the co-founders of The Wellness Lab!
We know we’re stronger together. Humans are hard-wired for connection, collaboration, and community. We plan to provide a space for just that! After collaborating to optimize patient care for years over countless coffee meetings, we have decided to open our very own clinic, The Wellness Lab.
We have a passion for community and women’s health and our mission is to create a supportive space where you feel welcome. Our team at The Wellness Lab will focus on elevating the health of the community by providing individualized, research-driven, and up to date care for our patients. We want to help you take control of your health in a space where you feel comfortable, calm and truly cared for.
We look forward to seeing you here!
Get well with us
Naturopathic medicine is a holistic approach to healthcare and involves treating the root cause of health concerns as well as optimizing overall health. Our Naturopathic Doctors will provide you with a comprehensive health assessment that includes a thorough case history, physical exams, and laboratory testing. Treatment is personalized and may include dietary and lifestyle counselling, nutritional supplements, herbal medicine, acupuncture, nutrient injection, and/or IV therapy.
Massage Therapy can provide benefits for a variety of musculoskeletal concerns, pain, injury, and stress management. Our Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) utilizes current evidence-based treatments and offers additional services including Aromatherapy, Cupping, lymphatic drainage techniques and more targeted massages for Pregnancy/Prenatal Care as well as Infant & Children's Massage.
Individuals & Couples Therapy
The goal of therapy is to help live a more conscious and balanced life. While investing in therapy you are also investing in self-care; your time and energy in building self-awareness, self-compassion, clarity, resilience, growth and appreciation in your relationship with yourself and others. Therapy can help with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationships challenges, burnout & stress, as well as self-compassion and increased awareness.
Holistic nutrition places particular emphasis on the interconnection between our dietary choices and lifestyle patterns, and how they impact our overall functioning. Through education and empowerment, a holistic nutritionist offers personalized care, enabling individuals to make informed decisions and embrace lifestyle habits that align with their unique needs and aspirations. Holistic Nutrition visits include nutritional guidelines & goals, accountability, meal plans and recipe inspiration to support your health goals.
Vitamin IV Therapy
Intravenous therapy involves delivering vitamins, minerals, and amino acids directly into your bloodstream to bypass your digestive system and provide your body and cells with high doses of nutrients. IV drips are customized to you and deliver concentrated nutrients for therapeutic effects to help your body heal from burnout, stress, fatigue, immune issues, and much more.
Acupuncture is provided by our Naturopathic Doctors and may be a part of your treatment plan to help you achieve your health goals. Acupuncture points are selected based on your individual health concerns and may be based on traditional Chinese medicine theory as well as dry needling/local acupuncture. Acupuncture can be beneficial for anxiety, stress, pain, hormonal conditions, menopause symptoms, and more.
Child-Centered Play Therapy
Child-centered play therapy is a non-directive approach to helping children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. It is also self-directive in the child’s search for healing and is grounded in knowing that children have the innate capacity to resolve the problems they are experiencing. Play Therapy is helpful for any child and can be used for emotional regulation, behavioural concerns, acute and severe trauma, anxiety, divorce, attachment problems, ADHD, developmental changes and more.
